ABS616 Aluminum / Steel 3/16″ x 1″ Rivets are made in USA utilizing Aluminum to form the rivet body and carbon steel for the pulling mandrel. These very long rivets can grip up to 1 inch thick materials. ABS616 Aluminum / Steel 3/16″ x 1″ Rivets are assembled with a mating high alloy STEEL nail to complete these open-end blind rivets. The process is controlled from raw materials, to forming, processing, painting and final mating and assembly to complete the process. These ABS616 Aluminum / Steel 3/16″ x 1″ Rivets have a 3/16″ shank diameter Aluminum rivet body with the extra, extra long length for fastening material thickness range (Grip Range) from 3/4″ to 1″.
ABS616 Aluminum / Steel 3/16″ x 1″ Rivets have a low profile 3/8″ diameter head for good surface contact when fastening large components such as aluminum, steel or composite sheets.
Recommended application conditions for these ABS616 Aluminum / Steel 3/16″ x 1″ Rivets can be critical to assure the optimum performance of this fastener. The application hole size should be 0.192 inches minimum to 0.196 inches maximum. To achieve this size hole a #11 drill size is required. The application grip range should be between 3/4″ to 1″.
